Custom Icing began with a simple idea: To make it easy for anyone to create cakes that wow.
Back in 2008, we started this business from my home kitchen while raising my two young children. Michelle wanted the flexibility to work from home, but also had a deep love for creativity and a passion for making celebrations extra special.

What began as a small home-based venture has grown into a trusted Australian business creating tens of thousands of edible images every year for bakers, families, and businesses around the country and beyond. In 2018, we traded Melbourne city life for a tree change and moved our operations to the southern Riverina region in NSW. We are now located in a lovely tiny town, and we haven’t looked back.

While our equipment and processes have evolved, the heart of Custom Icing remains the same: Helping people celebrate life’s moments with vibrant, high-quality edible designs. Each order we send out plays a part in bringing smiles to faces and memories to life — and that’s what drives us every day.

Giving back is also deeply important to me. Through our success and thanks to our wonderful clients and customers, we have been able to support many charities and non-profit organisations as well as World Vision programs, from local initiatives with First Nations communities to international projects that create lasting change for children and families around the world.
